She began her legal career at Nerlino Caddell & Associates, where she handled real estate transactions. While she found success in private practice, Carrie was driven by a desire to make a broader impact on her community through public service.

Carrie went on to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in the Offices of District Attorneys Daniel Donovan and Michael McMahon. Carrie began her career in the Criminal Court Bureau and was then promoted to the Narcotics/Investigations Bureau, where she served as Deputy Bureau Chief. She worked closely with the New York City Police Department on complex, long-term wiretap investigations. She successfully prosecuted serious felony cases involving violent crimes and narcotics trafficking, helping to protect public safety and uphold the rule of law.

In 2022, Carrie continued her commitment to public service by becoming the Principal Law Clerk to the Honorable Lisa Grey, Justice of the Supreme Court. In this role, she assists the Court in ensuring that justice is administered fairly and impartially. By conferencing cases, conducting legal research, drafting decisions, and working closely with the Court, Carrie has developed the experience and judgment necessary to resolve legal disputes thoughtfully, fairly, and in accordance with the law.

Carrie’s extensive legal experience, unwavering commitment to fairness, and lifelong dedication to public service have prepared her to serve the people of Staten Island as a Civil Court Judge. She believes every person who enters the courtroom deserves to be heard, treated with dignity, and judged fairly under the law.

Carrie resides in Westerleigh with her longtime partner, Steve and their beloved dog, Chief, and cat, Minnie.
